Though it has been several years since Dante Jones left Aurora, one can still hear that clean Colorado air in the music he’s been making as one half of the hip-hop duo, THEY. On the group’s most recent EP, Fireside, Jones and collaborator Drew Love continue to blur genres across six new tracks of pop R&B mixed with tinges of rock. Though the EP has a bit of the feel of artists still defining their sound and style, it captures Jones and Love pushing themselves and their music into new territory and bringing friends like Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih and Vic Mensa along for the ride.
