Sublime with Rome Partners with Buddy’s in San Jose

Many bands got their start within the ska era in Southern California. No Doubt, Reel Big Fish, Save Ferris, The Aquabats—these are just a few of the legendary bands that were born in the 1990s. Many have reached great heights in popularity, but none moreso than Sublime. The band towered over its competition, having released a number of albums during its reign. It has succeeded in creating unique songs, even after its founding vocalist Bradley Nowell passed away in 1996. But in 2012, Sublime returned with a new addition—Rome.

The collaboration is now called Sublime with Rome, which consists of a new vocalist, Rome Ramirez, who has a unique talent to mimic the same sound and feel as the original singer. (Plus, Ramirez has had extensive experience in the music industry, having worked with The Dirty Heads and Enrique Iglesias in the past.)

Fans of Sublime, both old and new, have a unique opportunity approaching. In partnership with Buddy’s Cannabis, Sublime with Rome will be playing in San Jose, California next week on September 27.

Buddy’s Music will be partnering with Sublime with Rome in a special performance next week that’s only open to medical cannabis patients who purchase their cannabis from Buddy’s. This exclusive event will feature the opportunity to meet and hang out with members of Sublime with Rome, as well as experience a special acoustic set of the band’s past musical hits. Of course, there will also be free appetizers, as well as beer and wine available to purchase if desired. All attendees will be able to participate in a drawing to win two V.I.P. tickets to Sublime with Rome’s upcoming performance at the Shoreline Amphitheatre to boot!

All ticket sales for this event will be donated to Path San Jose, which helps to address the issue of street homelessness in San Jose.
