Local singer/songwriter Callie Belo got her start studying vocals at the University of Colorado, focusing on jazz, rock, and soul. Her work as lead singer for local band Syndicate has allowed her to cut her chops in a live setting, and helped prepare her voice for the range and melody it proves itself capable of on her new solo EP, Weightless. Straying outside of her more classic style, this record delves into the realms of pop, hip-hop, and electronic music, and incorporates stellar production to highlight her unique voice. If you are a fan of talented vocalists and catchy music, this record makes a great soundtrack for summer.
