After just a three-year break between records, one of rock
music’s mightiest acts, the Foo Fighters, have returned with its 8th studio
album to date, Sonic Highways. The
record finds the group taking a more ambitious path with its writing and
production as it decides to record each of the eight songs on the album in eight
different cities, each with its own regionally significant special guest
appearance. Guests range from members of legendary hardcore punk band Scream to
the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and artists of all genres and styles in
