Over the last decade, New Jersey’s Screaming Females has
proved itself to be one of the hardest working bands in the independent music
community.  In addition, to being highly
regarded for its unique fusing of the near virtuosic guitar rock capabilities
of the band’s front-woman, Marissa Paternoster, with the more stripped down,
raw aesthetics of punk and ‘90s alternative rock, the band is also well known
for its nonstop tour schedule. Teaming up with producer Matt Bayles (The Sword,
Mastodon), the Females’ latest album, Rose
Mountain accurately captures the true heaviness of its sound, and gives
listeners the most authentic representation of the power and skill that this
