hough it’s been nearly 20 years since Smashing Pumpkins’ Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness landed like a bomb on the mid-‘90s alternative rock scene, the band has recently demonstrated that it hasn’t lost its ear for catchy melody or edgy riffs with its 10th studio release, Monuments To An Elegy.
