Every year new innovations allow the country and the world see how versatile hemp is. Hemp-derived medicines help countless people treat their medical conditions, as well as for their pets. It can be used as an ingredient in concrete, biofuel, and can even be sued to make other unique items such as aircraft and automotive bodies, as well as skateboards.

Multiple U.S. governors signed hemp legislation over the past two months alone, not to mention that there are even more bills in the works to help the U.S. move forward. The Hemp Industries Association joins hundreds of businesses and companies participate by hosting educational seminars and hands-on classes to get people more familiar with the plant that’s being promoted throughout the country. It includes Farmers Markets, informational seminars, hemp-based fashion shows, cannabinoid processing and so much more.

Interested parties are also invited to reach out to their state legislators, with the help of the Hemp Industries Association’s organized list of government contacts. This allows easy communication between a voter who wants to tell their political representatives why hemp is so great.

It’s more important now than ever before to ensure that the population understands that hemp could play a big part in the future of the U.S.—and the world.
