When a group
is as prolific as metal band High On Fire has managed to become in the 15-plus
years since it rose from the ashes of seminal stoner/doom metal Sleep, you’ve
got to wonder how long these guys can really go. After just a single listen of
High On Fire’s most recent offering,
Luminiferous, you
can rest assured. Luminiferous is raw, powerfully aggressive,
and it absolutely roars with vicious savagery, and frankly, who could want
