What goes perfectly with the sunny skies, majestic mountains and clouds of cannabis vapor that constantly loom over the city of Denver? The psychedelic, classic-rock influenced, doom metal-tinged music of Denver’s own Cloud Catcher. Their latest full length record, Enlightened Beyond Existence, is as catchy and funky as it is ripping and heavy. Some of the standout tracks on the album include the heavy anthem “Electric Ritual,” and the catchy ode to psychedelia “Rainbow Splitter.” Currently available as a digital download or on vinyl, the record features original artwork and is self-released by the group’s own label, Far Out Records.
