Virtual RealityVirtual reality is changing the way we play video games and experience scenes from our favorite films and TV shows. Google Cardboard and smart phones have made the trend affordable, and upcoming additions to the major gaming consoles will bring VR into homes on a mass scale. Here are a few examples of how the cannabis world is embracing this new technology.

Games & Apps

Cannabis and video games are a match made in heaven, so it’s no surprise that games like Windlands are a perfect compliment to cannabis. Windlands allows the player to explore 3-D virtual civilizations and ruins while listening to your custom playlist of music. It’s a great way to expand your mind and go on a wonderfully colorful trip.

Innovation

Virtual Reality CAD tools allow you to plan and map out your cannabis cultivation facility without having to spend millions of dollars on the real deal. This allows you to experiment and see what works best for you in a digital space, where mistakes only cost you time, and not all of your money. This technology is allowing potential entrepreneurs to test out their skills before committing.

Bjork is giving her 2015 album, Vulnicura, a virtual reality upgrade. The artist is unveiling several live concerts and music videos for VR devices.
