Adult Teen
Lisa Prank
Father/Daughter Records
Just in time for summer, Lisa Prank’s debut LP, Adult Teen, will be hitting the shelf. Filled to the brim with all of the delightfully sugary, garage pop-punk jams that fans of Lisa’s music have come to expect. Similar to Colleen Green’s I Want To Grow Up, Prank finds herself occupying that uneasy space where one feels like they’re being pushed into society’s norms of responsible adulthood, while all the while actually feeling like a slightly more mature 18-year-old. In that space though, Prank simply and succinctly speaks to complex emotions and ideas with an honesty and humor that is purely her own.
