Sigur Rós Releases Cannabis Infused Gumdrops

It’s a match made in Heaven for music lovers this 420, as Icelandic rock group Sigur Rós has teamed up with cannabis proprietor Lord Jones to release the cannabis infused and aptly named, “Wild SIGURberry Gumdrop.” The limited edition confection comes in three flavors inspired by the foraged berries of the band’s motherland featuring wild blackberry, blueberry and strawberry. The gumdrops will also come in three different doses including five, 10 and 20 mg sure to complement a variety of experiences and satisfy even the most fearless consumer. The collabo will also release the Lord Jones Signature 5:1 Ratio CBD to THC Formula as well as a CBD only formula for the true purest.

The cannabis infused candy will be sold in a Sigur Rós crest embossed box courtesy of illustrator, Andrew Rae and will hold nine pieces of the delectable treat. The festive boxes can be found on the Lord Jones website along with their large selection on edibles and topical products. The boxes will also be sold at select dispensaries throughout California, while the pure CBD variety will be available for purchase nationwide via the Lord Jones website.

No one seems happier about this marriage of music and edibles more than Lord Jones founder, Robert Rosenheck who called the collaboration a “dream come true,” stating that the Reykjavik-based band has been, “an inspiration to us over the years.”

For those of us lucky few who live in Southern California, Sigur Rós and Lord Jones will be hosting a “sound bath” April 18 at Neuehouse in Hollywood to commemorate this joyous occasion. Attendees are encouraged to sample the medicated SIGURberry drops while being treated to “multimedia collaborations from the band, including moments in sound, film and VR.”  What better way to kick off your festive 420 week?
