Martha Stewart CBD Expands Product Line With New Flavors of Gummies

Martha Stewart is expanding her Martha Stewart CBD line of cannabis products by launching a new plant-based and need-based CBD gummy for wellness-minded individuals who may be trying cannabis for the first time.

The new line was created in response to demand from consumers for targeted products that help treat common needs such as sleep, stress, and the discomfort of aches and soreness. Each product was made with higher levels of CBD and contains additional co-active ingredients meant to enhance the effects of the name of the product.

“For these gummies, we combined sophisticated, artisanal flavors that I have long enjoyed as staples in my recipes, often plucked straight from my own orchards and kitchen garden,” said Stewart. “The new line features a blend of ingredients, such as the citrus-forward concoction of tangerine, yuzu, and pomelo found in the Chill gummies, so that they feel like a decadent treat that just happens to have therapeutic effects.”

The new gummies were developed in collaboration with Marquee Brands and Canopy Growth Corporation and combine Stewart’s flavor profiles with Canopy Growth’s unique consumer insights and continuous industry innovation. The new launch features three products: the Sleep CBD Gummies and the Chill CBD Gummies, each with 25mg of CBD, and the Extra Strength CBD Gummies with 30mg of CBD. The Sleep and Chill Gummies also contain 3 mg Melatonin and 50 mg L-Theanine, respectively.

“As consumers focus on finding the ways to feel their best, CBD use continues to grow, fueled by categories like gummies that have become an integral part of wellness routines,” said Tara Rozalowsky, Chief Growth Officer and President, International, Canopy Growth. “Martha Stewart is a trusted household name because people of all ages turn to her for candid advice and simple, sensible solutions to everyday problems. The new Martha Stewart CBD needs-based gummies deliver just that – accessible, reliable relief when and where you need it most.”

Stewart entered the cannabis space through a business partnership with Canopy Growth in 2019 in which she works in an advisory role to help develop new cannabis product lines for animal care, cosmetics and food. The first Martha Stewart CBD products were released in 2020, inspired by the French pâte de fruits Stewart enjoyed while on a trip to Paris. Stewart and Canopy Growth continued their partnership and followed up the initial release with a CBD product line available for pets, developed in conjunction with Dr. Bob Menardi, Director of Veterinary Technical and Educational Services at Canopy Animal Health.

“As soon as you hear the name Martha, you know exactly who we’re talking about,” said Bruce Linton, Canopy Growth chairman and co-CEO. “Martha is one of a kind and I am so excited to be able to work alongside this icon to sharpen our CBD product offerings across categories from human to animal.”

Although Stewart is relatively new to the cannaibs industry, she has long been linked to cannabis thanks to a friendship with Snoop Dogg. The two have been friends for years and Stewart claims Snoop Dogg is the one who got her to enter the cannabis industry in the first place. The two have collaborated on projects, both including cannabis and not, and Snoop Dogg has previously referred to Stewart as the “secondhand queen.” The two recently collaborated to launch the cannabis-friendly Best Buds bag with BIC, furthering their previous collaboration that saw the release of the BIC EZ Reach lighter.

“I’ve shared a variety of items from my CBD line with Snoop, and he’s enjoyed them in the recording studio. Snoop actually helped to inspire the creation of the line!” Stewart told People.
