Jerry Garcia Wellness Launches New Wellness Brand and CBD Products

To celebrate the vision and values of legendary musician and longtime cannabis advocate Jerry Garcia, a new company is launching a new CBD brand and line of wellness products.

Jerry Garcia Wellness is a new line of CBD wellness products that celebrates the life and usic of Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead. The new brand is an officially licensed partner with the Garcia family and features a full line of CBD products that will pay homage to the Jerry Garcia legacy. Products are set to include a collection of tinctures, topicals and custom-molded rose shaped gummies inspired by Jerry Garcia’s love of roses.

Previously, a Jerry Garcia cannabis line named Garcia Hand Picked was launched by Garcia’s daughter, Trixie Garcia, and marketed by Holistic Industries with products featuring pre-rolls made from recycled paper and a glass tip with Garcia’s handprint. A line of edibles shaped like guitar picks, called Jerry’s Picks, were also made available.

“We picked Holistic Industries based on shared values, a proven track record of successful operations, scalability across multiple states and their ability to launch and market new brands; not to mention, they have a senior leadership team full of Deadheads,” Trixie Garcia said.

Jerry Garcia Wellness enlisted founder of KelSie Biotech, Cameron Keluche, as head of product development to ensure efficacy and quality are a top priority for Jerry Garcia Wellness. All Jerry Garcia Wellness products are made with 100 percent USDA Certified Organic CBD.

“It is an honor to work on this 100% organic and plastic-free CBD project initiated by Jerry Garcia Wellness,” said Keelin Garcia, Jerry’s daughter and president of Jerry Garcia Music Arts, LLC. “We appreciate how dedicated the company has been to ensure that every aspect of the project is in line with what father believed in and supported. We’re excited to be able to honor him on his 80th birthday by sharing this natural wellness CBD program with his fans.”

The brand has worked diligently with the Garcia family to ensure all aspects of the brand align with Jerry Garcia’s belief in sustainability, including all products and packaging as well as the company’s mission.

“We will be including Jerry’s fine art and other recognizable iconography in our packaging to instantly identify the brand as one that is his,” said founder and CEO of Jerry Garcia Wellness, Bobby Brahms. “Every detail of every product has been designed to recognize and respect Jerry’s vision for legal cannabis products that are intended to improve well-being without harming the planet. Fans and those seeking a better quality of life alike will know that they’re getting a superior product that carries on Jerry’s prolific legacy with each experience.”

“One of the things that I’ve learned through this process—and it’s a multi-year process—is learning firsthand information from the family,” Brahms said. “So Chris McCutcheon is on our team. And Chris worked for Bob Weir, Jerry Garcia, and is a member of the Jerry Garcia extension. After 25 years, it’s kind of tongue-in-cheek that he’s the historian and chief storyteller. But, you know, having worked with that band for 25 years, many of which Jerry was around, we’ve just learned so much about what a strong cannabis proponent he was.”

Jerry Garcia Wellness products are set to be available for purchase during the Fall. The company will be donating a portion of its proceeds to charity, directed by the Garcia family. Brahms also noted the goal is to get Jerry Garcia Wellness in larger retail stores as well, and has plans to develop Jerry’s Greens, an offering for the big retail stores for products with a lesser amount of CBD than the legal limit.
