[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]J[/dropcap]ust steps away from the diagonal at the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan, a dispensary is planned to open for operation. Recently, the Ann Arbor Planning Commission awarded Live Cafe N Wellness with a city zoning approval.

Although the dispensary was already in operation, it didn’t have the approval until now. Mlive reports that the business received a special-exception use permit to open at a second story loft property. The location includes a lounge area with freshly squeezed juices, coffee and an oxygen bar. The business behind Live Cafe N Wellness is the A2 Go Green Corp.

“We are a wellness and health food center located in Ann Arbor. We offer over 20 medicinal marijuana strains, CBD, and other health foods and organic products,” the Liv Cafe N Wellness website states. “We take a different approach to your medical marijuana and health needs. We focus on natural and healthy products that will help you achieve a happier and healthier lifestyle.”

The location is at 603 E. William St. near State Street. With the approval from the Planning Commission, there are now nine dispensaries with zoning approval in Ann Arbor. The approved dispensaries are the following:

Liv Cafe N Wellness, 603 E. William St.

Bloom City Club, 423 Miller Ave.

Arbors Wellness at 321 E. Liberty St.

Treecity Health Collective at 2730 Jackson Ave.

Greenstone Society at 338 S. Ashley St.

Stadium Ventures Inc. at 2460 W. Stadium Blvd.

Medicine Man of Ann Arbor Inc. at 2793 Plymouth Road

Arborside at 1818 Packard St.

Om of Medicine at 111 S. Main St.

Because over 30 applicants recently applied for zoning approval, the Ann Arbor City Council decided to impose a 60-day moratorium on the issuance of new zoning approvals.

Before the business can open doors, Live Cafe N Wellness still needs a building compliance approval, a permit approval and a state license approval.
