TSUMo Snacks Launch Two Holiday-Themed Flavors, Holiday Giveback Initiative

Halloween has come and gone, and cannabis companies like the savory edible company TSUMo Snacks are looking ahead at the upcoming holiday season. The innovative snack company already has a variety of chips and crunchy treats, available in 10mg and 100mg options, and now the California-based edibles brand is turning focus to the holiday season with the launch of two new, limited-edition holiday flavors, according to a Business Wire release.

Turkey Dinner Popped Potato Chips and Cinnamon Sugar Churro Crispy Tortilla Chips will be available in shareable, 100 mg bags in select partner dispensaries throughout California starting November 4.

The two flavors were inspired by nostalgic, seasonal tastes. The Turkey Dinner popped chips have a dusting of savory turkey seasoning, while the Cinnamon Sugar Churro offering is TSUMo’s first foray into a sweet-tinged chip. Both flavors are a great fit for Thanksgiving, though they also work great as a companion for the collection of December holidays.

TSUMo Snacks Co-Founder and CEO Caroline Yeh said these flavors were formulated with holiday celebrations with loved ones in mind.

“The holiday flavors were curated to bring friends, family and loved ones together to help folks enjoy the holiday season to their ‘highest’ potential,” Yeh said. “From delicious chips sprinkled with turkey seasoning to the joy of eating cinnamon-sweet churros, TSUMo Snacks is bringing together all the best parts of the holidays without the hassle of traditional seasonal tropes… and infusing it with cannabis.”

As this is the season of giving, TSUMo Snacks has also introduced the first annual “Weed Wish You a Happy Holidays” giveback initiative. TSUMo is partnering with canna-beverage brand Wunder and cannabis subscription box service Nugg Club for the new initiative, which will give shoppers 10% off on all TSUMo Snacks products and four packs of breezy, THC-infused libations from Wunder.

For each bundle purchased, TSUMo Snacks, Wunder and Nugg Club will also donate $2, to go toward food and four meals for local families through the brand’s food bank partner, San Francisco-Marin Food Bank.

TSUMo Snacks was first launched in 2021. As the website states, “We’re cannabis-loving snackers who had an idea: What if the munching came first? After taking a long, hard look at what’s out there, we decided that the snack we wanted just didn’t exist. And that’s how TSUMo was born.”

The edible brand has already had quite the autumn season. Along with their long standing flavors Salsa Verde, Classic Cheese, Fiery Hot, Zesty Ranch and Hint of Lime, TSUMo recently added two new flavors, Nacho Cheese and Chili Limon.

That’s not all: In early October, TSUMo announced its new collaboration with rap and cannabis icon, Snoop Dogg, in the form of Uncle Snoop’s Snazzle Os. The new offering is an onion-y snack, with one standard flavor and another spicy option, both featuring Snoop’s face front and center.

“I’m excited to partner with TSUMo Snacks to bring some new snack options to the fans,” Snoop Dogg said in a news release. “There are plenty of sweet edibles out there, so when I created this product I wanted to put the Dogg twist on it, which is why I’m bringing the savory THC-infused crispy onion-flavored rings to my home state of California. You know that if I’m going to put my name on something, it’s guaranteed stamped Snoop D-O-Double-G fresh.”

Yeh said that that collaboration was something she and her team had dreamt of, adding, “Snoop aligns perfectly with TSUMo Snacks’ values, as he has always been authentic to his true self. And we know our fans love Snoop, too! We jumped on the opportunity to collaborate with him to create these salty, crispy, onion-flavored rings that are reminiscent of his own favorite snack. We can’t wait to see what our fans think of this innovative, first-of-its-kind cannabis edible.”

TSUMo Snacks is clearly staying busy, and we’ll be curious to see what else the emerging edible brand has in store and how it could shape the future of savory, cannabis-infused snacks in the future.
