‘The Cannabis Manifesto’ Tops Charts in a Major Way

The Huffington Post’s Sara Davidson reported, “Steve DeAngelo has written what amounts to the Declaration of Independence for Cannabis.” The book is not only a literary success but a commercial success. Harborside Health announced Wednesday that The Cannabis Manifesto has hit number one in three categories on Amazon.

Steve DeAngelo has co-founded some of the largest companies in cannabis including Harborside Health, Steep Hill Lab and The ArcView Group. DeAngelo’s Harborside was the first organization in America to treat children suffering from Dravet’s Syndrome with CBD-rich cannabis. Over the last 40 years, he’s become one of the most respected cannabis authorities.
Morgan Spurlock, an Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker, praised the book, writing “There is no greater authority in the United States on marijuana and the laws surrounding it than Steve DeAngelo.”
DeAngelo produces a radical treatise, arguing that there is no such thing as recreational cannabis use. He encourages using cannabis for wellness and the responsibility of cannabis smokers. DeAngelo argues that cannabis itself is not harmful, but prohibition is. He holds an enthusiastic vision for cannabis reform in America. The book has received almost entirely good ratings, with a 5-star average.
