Three police officers from Santa Ana have been fired from their agency for being caught on camera eating snacks and making fun of a disabled woman during a raid at a cannabis dispensary.

According to the OC Register, Brandon Matthew Sontag, Nicole Lynn Quijas and Jorge Arroyo, the three officers caught on tape, are no longer employed as city police officers. While their supervisor declined to comment about whether they were fired or left of their own accord, it is clear that they will no longer be serving the city of Santa Ana.

The video is from a May 2015 raid of Sky High Holistic dispensary in Santa Ana. The dispensary was raided because they were being accused by the city of selling cannabis without a permit.

Footage of the raid was caught by a hidden camera on the premises that was not successfully disabled by the officers carrying out the raid. The officers were caught making demeaning remarks to a one-legged volunteer in a wheelchair.

“Did you punch that one-legged old benita?” a male officer was seen and heard to be asking a female officer, referring to the volunteer.

“I was about to kick her in her (expletive) nub,” the female officer is heard to reply.

The footage also shows the officers eating snacks during the raid. Some at first believed the officers were eating edibles, but apparently there is no evidence that they were consuming cannabis.

After the footage surfaced, the officers’ conduct was investigated. They were placed on paid leave, and charged with petty theft and vandalism, because they broke all of the other cameras on the premises.

Thankfully, these officers will no longer be on duty in Santa Ana, and due to their infamy ever since the video surfaced, they may not be working again as law enforcement officers any time soon.
