At times,
Denver’s own Motion Trap’s sound can be more reminiscent of the large textures
of post-rockers, like Explosions in the Sky or Mogwai, where, at other points it
comes off dancey, with electronic-laden drum and bass grooves rolling out. The
band’s debut album, PALE BLUE DOT, captures the endearing qualities of
the band’s sound and song writing.
Sometimes toe-tapping, other times atmospheric and textural, Motion Trap
