Olivia Newton-John to Battle Cancer with Cannabis Oil

Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi recently said her mother will try cannabis oil to treat her second battle with breast cancer. Lattanzi posted the announcement on her Instagram on May 31. Lattanzi owns a legal cannabis farm in Oregon with her fiancé James Driskill, and is highly knowledgeable about the efficacy of CBD oil.
Newton-John had successfully beat breast cancer in 1992, after resorting to a partial mastectomy and breast reconstruction. But after a nagging back pain she endured during her tour of the United States and Canada, tests indicated that the cancer returned. The cancer had metastasized to the sacrum, a bone in the lower back. Newton-John wrote about the devastating news and said she will undergo “natural wellness therapies and a short course of photon radiation therapy,” and she hopes to eventually finish her tour, which was postponed.
Lattanzi’s emotional post on Instagram featured an old photo of herself as a girl with her mother. “I want to thank all of you for your love and support. My mom and best friend is going to be fine!” Lattanzi wrote. “She will be using medicine that I often talk about. CBD oil! (Cannabis has scientifically proven properties to inhibit cancer cell growth) and other natural healing remedies plus modern medicine to beat this. Cancer is the disease of our generation and it is part of my and my mother’s quest to beat this insidious monster.”
Lattanzi was able to start up her cannabis operation last December thanks to a loan from her mother. Lattanzi moved to Oregon to launch the cannabis farm as a fresh start, after her battle with addiction. Not everyone is open to Lattanzi’s idea to treat her mother with medical cannabis. Lattanzi stated that she is taking a break from social media do to “incredibly insensitive” comment made about her recent posts involving her mother.
Newton-John’s fans go to see her perform her chart-topping singles which made her one of the best-selling artists of all time and selling over 100 million records. After a combination of radiation and rounds of cannabis oil, the 68-year-old superstar hopes to finish her tour for fans that will miss her June concert dates.
