Upwards of 20,000 people showed up on June 30 to the west end of Portland’s Burnside Bridge to celebrate Oregon’s newly implemented recreational cannabis laws. Lucky attendees, 21 and older, were able to take home free flower and seeds while the remainder of the several thousand enthusiasts held up signs (and traffic, unfortunately) in celebration. CULTURE reporter, Zara Zhi, was on the scene mingling with the Oregonians and snapping photos of the momentous event.
