New App for Cannabis-Related Jobs Dropping Soon

Within the next few weeks, a new app is going to be available for cannabis enthusiasts – WeedHire.com. Instead of finding your nearest medical and recreational dispensaries and displaying menus, this app will be the Linkedin of the cannabis world, connecting you with jobs in the field.

The app will feature jobs from entry-level retail and growing jobs to high-level advertising and branding positions. Finally, cannabis-centered businesses will be able to reach out with available opportunities to a very specific demographic: those who are passionate about cannabis and motivated to seek employment. 

“The new mobile app will allow users to conveniently access WeedHire.com right from their phone, where they can review open positions and apply directly from wherever they are,” said David Bernstein, CEO of Weedhire.com, according to High Times. “This means people can see the most recent jobs as they come out, without needing to be in front a computer, making WeedHire.com that much more efficient for our users.” 

The cannabis employment industry is expanding every day as more states and cities embrace legalization, recreation, and medicinal use. Because of this, there are a plethora of jobs available in the service industry from sales and delivery to testing products and working in growing and cultivation.. There are also many positions in media, as evidenced by the existence of this publication and even the app itself. The app will only post positions that are legally approved, and in recreational or medicinal states. 

It’s hard to think of a better way to legitimatize the industry and dispel the pesky “lazy stoner” stereotype than with a savvy networking app. Hopefully, this will open doors for those who want a contemporary and innovative way to access jobs in this expanding industry.
