July 31, as the first medical cannabis dispensary in the state officially opened its doors. 15 years after voters approved medicinal cannabis, the state finally sees its first access point, and residents were very excited.
Dana Metz, who suffers from chronic back pain, told Las Vegas Review Journal, “It just makes a better quality of life. It’s been a lot of years, waiting for this.”
Silver State Relief comes equipped with its own grow house and is currently harvesting. In the meantime, the dispensary is selling roughly 6 strains, some notable canna-scene favorites, such as Girl Scout Cookie, Ghost OG and Purple Kush.
