August 10 is National S’mores Day!
S’mores are a delicious treat made from three simple ingredients—graham
crackers, toasted marshmallows and melted chocolate bars. Yum! The first
official s’mores recipe was published in the Girl Scout Handbook in 1927
Tramping and Trailing with the Girl Scouts!,
but culinary historians believe that the tradition began much earlier. Over the
years, the recipe was passed from camper to camper and eventually became the
most famous fireside dessert. Here at
CULTURE,
we had to create our own delicious canna-s’mores to celebrate this thankful
holiday, and you should too! Grab a few friends, make a campfire, and have some
of these tasty infused s’mores. No bonfire? No problem! You can toast
marshmallows in a toaster oven or a microwave. Happy National S’mores Day!

Ingredients

Graham crackers broken in half

Hershey’s plain milk chocolate
squares

Large marshmallows

8 metal skewers (for roasting the
marshmallows)

Bonfire, campfire, fire pit, stove
top or a commercial indoor s’mores maker

¼ cup cannabis infused olive oil

Directions

Take 1 large graham cracker and
break it in half.  One square for the top and one for the bottom. Brush
crackers with infused olive oil. Unwrap chocolate bar and break into pieces to
match the size of one of the graham crackers. Put a marshmallow on a stick or
metal skewer. Hold it over the fire turning the stick until the outside of the
marshmallow is golden brown and starting to get mushy. Some people like to
roast them for a few minutes, let them catch fire, blow them out and then the
marshmallows are done to their liking.

Take your toasted marshmallow,
still on the stick, and lay it on the graham cracker

with the chocolate. Now take the
other half of the graham cracker and cover the hot marshmallow pressing down,
then pull the stick out. Let sit for a few seconds, the heat will melt the
chocolate. Now enjoy, make sure to lick the marshmallow goo that oozes out the
sides!
