Mako Haze

In the dead of winter, you start missing all of those truly summer happenings—barbeques, lounging by the pool, Shark Week on Discovery Channel. If you’re looking for something less fishy, check out Mako Haze from Infinite Wellness in Fort Collins, who definitely chummed the waters with this excellent sample. Drawing inspiration from New Zealand, Kiwiseeds first introduced the Mako (the M?ori coined name for the beast) as a rushing sativa-dominant hybrid. While the smell won’t remind you of actual kiwis, there is a nice mix of citrus and spice, like a pirate’s beard after too many cocktails and not enough showers. This sample in particular had great density for haze, likely due to the cross with kiwi green, with faint hairs and bold, bright green calyxes. Perfect for hitting the pool for a few laps or getting in a game of beach volleyball, this strain compels you to be active. Sharks never stop moving, so why should we?
