What’s the story behind the name of your
dispensary?

Jered: Gratitude for
the medicinal properties of the plant.

Joey: He called me one day and ran the
name by me and I was like, “Wow, yeah, that’s great!”

What does your dispensary offer patients
that they can’t find anywhere else?

Joey: Since we deal mostly with local
growers, we get to pick and choose the best, high quality flowers for our
patients, and not get stuck with just “our” strains.

Jered: It comes down to
having a large variety for our patients.

How has the cannabis industry changed
since you have been in the business? Where would you like to see it go?

Joey: Legalization is a big change,
but the market has also become saturated. Lots of new dispensaries popping up
in the area, which is leading to lower prices as competition increases. But I’d
like to see us keep growing as a business.

Jered: I’d like to see us be able to
offer both medicinal and recreational so our patients won’t have to deal with
the extra taxes that come with the rec.

Joey: Yeah, both under one roof.

What are the biggest challenges you face
in this industry as a dispensary? . . .

Jered: Building and maintaining a
client base . . . keeping your patients coming back.

Biggest Joys?

Jered: Seeing happy patients leave with
a smile.

Joey: Yep, happy patients.

What is the one thing you want patients
to know about your dispensary?

Jered: We understand. We listen. We’ve
been through it all ourselves and are very sympathetic to our patient’s needs.
We’re here for you.

If someone wanted to open a dispensary
and get their feet wet in the industry, what advice or counsel would you give
them?

Jered: Read the manual. Thoroughly.
(Laughs).

Joey: It’s no cakewalk. Be ready for a
lot of hard work and long hours.

Jered: It’s a 24-hour job.

Joey: Compliancy on paperwork alone is
more than a full-time job.

What is the most important thing you
hope to accomplish while in the MJ/MMJ community?

Jared: Building and
maintaining a solid reputation. Straight to the point.

Joey: We want our shop to be known for
quality, great customer service and great prices.
