Grandpas do the things we don’t want to, like go to war and put up with grandma. In honor of their sacrifice, let’s all enjoy some Granddaddy Purps, one of our favorite indicas. Courtesy of Elevations in Colorado Springs, this phenotype hails from Humboldt, California and has the trademark purple flecks that made it famous. Tasting as good as it looks, you’ll note a sugary sweet grape flavor reminiscent of Airheads along with a slight pine taste, just like pop pop’s air freshener. We found this strain to be super couch-locky, perfect for one of his long stories, and a great appetite stimulant, although grabbing a Werther’s Original works too. All kidding aside, you’ll want to try Granddaddy Purps if you’re dealing with severe pain or insomnia, as it’s known for its great healing properties.
