Edible Incentives and Recalls

State regulators
are considering a proposal that would incentivize companies to produce less
potent edibles with only 10mg of active THC. As these rules are being
considered by the Department of Revenue, the Department of Environmental Health
is cracking down on edible producers. Home Baked, a popular edible company in
the state of Colorado, is facing a recall on their products. The recall is due
to the use of a modified washing machine in the making of their hash product.
The argument being made is that the hash is being used in an edible product and
therefore has to abide by the same health standards required in making the
edible food.
