Cookies to Launch Cannabis Products in New York Adult This Week

Cookies is continuing to expand its supreme reign in the cannabis space as the mammoth brand sees its official entrance into New York’s legal market this week.

The cannabis brand announced the launch of select vape and infused pre-roll products crafted from its signature flower on Nov. 8, allowing both New Yorkers and visitors over 21 to get their hands on Cookies products in the Empire State. Products will be available at Union Square Travel Agency (USQTA) in Manhattan, Strain Stars in Long Beach and FlynnStoned in Syracuse among other locations, according to a news release.

The launch was coordinated through Cookies’ partnerships with New York-based distributor Highline Brands and packaging and co-manufacturing partner Final Bell. While there have been plenty of major wins for the ever-growing brand, the long-anticipated entrance of the brand into New York marks one of the more recent crucial milestones for Cookies, Berner attested.

“Launching Cookies products in New York is a dream come true for me,” he said. “I love this city and we have been working hard to get products to the Big Apple.”

According to Berner, the work to bring authentic Cookies products to New York has been “nonstop” as legislation shifted to allow for the legal recreational cannabis market. He reaffirmed his excitement around the launch, which he said was made possible through the brand’s partnership with Final Bell.

“I can’t wait to have Cookies products in the hands of the NY cannabis connoisseurs and spoil the lungs of customers,” Berner added.

The launch will see two different Cookies vape offerings: 1G Dual Chamber all-in-one vape and 1G Cannabis Terps vape cartridge. The products include a live terpene blend alongside proprietary gravity-fed tech, which lend to more flavorful hits and no wasted oil according to the release.

USQTA Operating Partner Dave Vautrin nodded to the products, saying that the agency prides itself on having the broadest and most innovative range of cannabis products in New York.

“The Cookies Dual Chamber switch hitter vape featuring two strains, two tanks and two atomizers creates a truly unique experience and offering for NYC consumers, which USQTA is excited to debut this week,” Vautrin said.

Each  dua-chamber device also includes two separate flavors, either Cereal Milk / Cereal a la Mode or Berniehana Butter / Tequila Sunrise, allowing users to switch between strains by simply pressing a button. The Cannabis Terps cart offers single-strain exclusives, including Berniehana Butter, Cereal Milk, Gary Payton, Tequila Sunrise, and Triple Scoop.

“Cookies is recognized globally as one of the top cannabis lifestyle brands, with a deep presence and brand recognition in NYC. I am confident that the 1-gram vape offering will be embraced by both Cookies’ loyal consumer base as well as USQTA consumers seeking an intense flavor experience,” Vautrin said.

Later this year, Cookies will also offer its Triple-Infused Pre-rolls with Diamonds, in both a single one-gram option and a five-pack of half-gram joints. Infused with diamonds, cannabis extract and coated in kief, the options will include Berniehana Butter, Cereal Milk, Gary Payton and Triple Scoop.

“Starting Cookies in the Bay and finally being able to have our cannabis products drop across the country, in the heart and soul of the U.S., is truly amazing,” said Berner.

Now the most globally recognized cannabis brand in the world, Cookies started on the other side of the country in San Francisco with the combined expertise of grow expert Jai and entrepreneur Berner, spawning from their variety of the Girl Scout Cookies strain.

Initially founded in 2012. Nearly a decade later in 2021, Berner said the company was worth at least $1 billion, becoming the world’s first legal $1 billion weed brand.

“Based on revenue, and growth, and potential growth,” he told Business Insider. “We’re definitely a billion-dollar company.”
