Former NFL Player Lofa Tatupu Releases CBD Line
[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]O[/dropcap]n Wednesday, former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu announced his entrance into the CBD industry with his company ZoneIn CBD. As a three-time pro bowler, Tatupu is no stranger to chronic pain from injuries he has sustained. After utilizing CBD to help deal with his injuries, he created ZoneIn CBD to share his healing secret with others.
“After my lengthy football career, I suffered with chronic pain, lethargy and mental fogginess. I was unfocused and unmotivated, until I discovered CBD. Just one week after my first dose, my head was clear, pain was alleviated, and my mind and body felt connected…the old Lofa was back!” Tatupu stated in a release. “It was then that I realized the transformative power of CBD and the idea of ZoneIn was born. One unique aspect of Tatupu’s company is that there are countless other professional athletes who have partnered with him on this venture. The team of investors and partners from the National Football League (NFL) include Matt McCoy, Mike Morgan, Dane Fletcher, Leroy Hill, Mike Rivera, David Hawthorne, Bob Cryder and Calvin Mosley. Also, the team is comprised of Jason Bay from Major League Baseball and Jim Renner from the PGA TOUR.
In addition to professional athletes, ZoneIn CBD’s board is led by trusted professionals in the medical field. The company’s Chief Medical Executive is Dr. Karyemaître Allife (BA, Harvard; MD and PhD, Stanford with Honors). The CEO, Amit Rikhi, used to serve as the Vice President of Innovation at the American Cancer Society.
