Elemental Wellness’ very exclusive Yogi Diesel is about as well-rounded as strains get, making it the San Jose dispensary’s most-recommend flower, and rightly so. Sourced from Los Angeles around 2005, and mixing Chemdawg with an unknown, high-vigor offspring—it’s a great representation of Sour Diesel. Yogi Diesel presents itself in big, thick, well-groomed colas with dark green leaves and light green nodules. The sharp, Sour D terpenes manage to seep out of the tightest glass jars, but the smell is quite complex: lemon, pine, mint and then herbaciously peppery on the grind. Quite flavorful and potent, the astringent sourness and pepper lingers in the sinuses, while the dominant taste is lemon. This strong hybrid creates significant head and body effects, euphoria, energy, as well as pain-relief. Patients with tolerance say it’s stimulating yet functional. Also efficacious for nerve pain, back issues and alcohol withdrawal.
