Sensi Star is no stranger to the winners circle after taking first in the High Times Cannabis Cup’s indica category in 1999. Purple Voodoo, on the other hand, is the mysterious challenger hailing from parts unknown. If you’re undergoing cancer treatment or dealing with nausea, a few hits should go a long way towards stimulating your appetite. This is definitely a “mom” strain; it wants to feed you, even if all you end up making is a big bowl of cereal. It’s even nice on the palette, with aromas of fuel and anise giving way to a smooth smoke that tastes more like red rope licorice.
