I won’t deny it: spring is my favorite season. The perfectly soothing, serene winds across your face; the bright sun that repels the melancholy of a gray winter; the activities of vivacious people under the dazzling spring light; it’s nature’s most glorious time of year. How suiting, then, for people to partake in the biggest parties of the year during spring, such as the Venice Spring Fling at Windward Plaza Park in Venice. This free event will feature a day of live musical entertainment from local bands, with guests such as The Tracii Guns League of Gentlemen, Barry “The Fish” Melton (who performed at the original Woodstock), Street Smart, Fly N Lion and much more. There will also be a number of artworks on display, with some of them for sale. The beautiful beachside city of Venice has always been a venue for celebratory culture, and springtime only adds to its beauty.
