The planet Arrakkis is home to the mythical sandworms that create a drug called spice. Spice grants the user long life, improved vitality and the ability to unlock prescience in certain individuals. The substance is intense and powerful, which makes the famous quote from the movie all the more prevalent, “He who controls the spice controls the universe.”

Relaxabrex from Community

The rest of the movies and shows on this list feature action packed genres of entertainment. Though it may come as no surprise that the comedy show Community, and its fake drug Relaxabrex, made the cut. Unlike the positive side effects of cannabis, this substance isn’t very uplifting, “Relaxabrex doesn’t make you give up on your dreams; it’s just a side effect!”
