On its third full-length album, Boston, Massachusetts-based trio Slothrust delivers its tightest and most cohesive record yet with The Pact. Working with producer Billy Bush (Garbage, Against Me!), the band finally strikes a balance between the ’90s alt rock that it explored on its debut record, Of Course You Do, and the more polished indie pop stylings that it pushed toward on its second release, Everyone Else.
