[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]I[/dropcap]t’s 2018—we’ve already witnessed two-out-of-three of the newer Star Wars trilogy films, and Rogue One also graced the silver screen to great success. Next up, fans will eventually get to visit the Millennium Falcon in-person at Disneyland sometime in 2019—but first, this year’s next bite of the Star Wars cinematic universe is none other than the arrival of Solo: A Star Wars Story (which releases on May 25). You may groan or express your distaste for a Han Solo movie that no one really asked for—but you can bet that there are some fancy new strains, as well as plenty of traditional ones on the market, that are inspired by a few traditional characters. May the 4th be with you.

Vader Kush

It’s assumed that Darth Vader was about 40-ish years old when he appeared in Rogue One, and sources say that he’s going to make an appearance in SOLO too. You can’t go wrong with a Kush strain, especially when its namesake of the famous villain. Not to mention that patients noted this strain as a go-to for treating insomnia and chronic pain.

Princess Leia

Leia’s journey has been a long one, from bikini-clad prisoner of Jabba the Hutt to respected General of the rebellion. No matter her role, she’ll always be our princess. And no matter our ailment, this strain is there to help. Patients noted that this potent sativa helped them become highly alert and motivated.

Chewbacca OG

The Wookiee are a fierce race that come from the planet Kashyyyk—but only die hard fans can name more than one famous Wookiee. Chewbacca is the unforgettably tall humanoid creature who speech doesn’t make any sense to anyone unless they’re around him long enough. You’ll soon get acquainted with your Chewbacca OG strain though, right after you inhale a potent OG and gas scent that’s bound to excited your senses.

Han Solo

Many don’t know much more about Han Solo than his rugged good looks, his feisty attitude and how he “made the Kessel Run in less than 12 Parsecs.” While SOLO will probably enlighten audiences about that fact, and many others about Han’s history, this is one strain to have along for the ride. Plus, reviewers stated that this strain is great for treating a multitude of ailments.

Of course, you can always satisfy your appetite with some of these additional classic Star Wars strains like Skywalker OG, Death Star, OG1 Kenobi, Storm Trooper, Yoda, White Fire Jedi OG and Kylo Ren. Hopefully with the arrangement of new movies coming out annually, we’ll see a few newer strains names though. We desperately need strain names honoring Jyn Erso, Porgs and Lando Calrissian.
