Ten Years of Cannabis-Inspired Music

[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]I[/dropcap]t’s 2019—the last year of the decade. You might not realize it now but this year ends the 10 years of strange clothing trends, famous historical events and a slew of music that defined multiple generations. Ten, 20, 40 years from now people will look back on the 2010s with a unique opinion (just as you might currently view the 1980s as an explosion of rock music, puffy hair styles and bright neon colored clothing). Trends change rapidly, but if the 2010s were known for one thing, it’s the evolution of the cannabis industry.  In honor of 420, we’re looking at the past 10 years of unique music releases. While this playlist is by no means a complete collection of cannabis inspired tunes, it’s a small testament to the herb and its presence in musical culture. It’s history in the making!
