While the Spyro the Dragon series is far from new (having originally released in 1998 on the PlayStation), the quality of this trilogy remake is so high that it might as well be brand-new. Not only does this game present undeniably beautiful graphics compared to the original, but it’s also a three-for-the-price-of-one deal, so you get the original as well as the second and third titles. Players will instantly harken back to the days when 3D games were new, and times when endless hours of fun were gained by comically torching sheep with fire and collecting gems that looked like liquid-filled fruit snacks.
