There are several medicated candy bars on the market and some—let’s not kid ourselves—are better than others in terms of taste, effect and potency. But when it comes to edibles made with chocolate, taste can be a huge deal breaker (or maker) for patients. Does this edible taste like you’re biting into sweet goodness—or a candy bar that taste like chlorophyll?—such is the dilemma. Enter Space Bar, a top-shelf edible that takes the blending of cannabis and dreamy, creamy chocolate and turns it into an art form. What green taste? None here. We sampled the Milk Chocolate, Cookie Bar and Dark Chocolate varieties—Chocolate Mint, Chocolate Toffee, PB Chocolate and Oreo Bar are also available—and all we could think about was delectable and decadent flavor of these medicated delights. Available at South Coast Patients Center in Santa Ana, Space Bars take about an hour and a half to kick in and they deliver boatloads of muscle-relaxing, pain-vanquishing effects. Oh—and your sweet tooth will thank you.
