While the premiere of the comedy series was shockingly more than a decade ago, it’s hard to shake the memory of the quirky Australian/U.S. black comedy FX show, Wilfred.
The show features co-creator and actor Jason Gann as the titular sassy, weed-smoking Wilfred, who appears as a normal canine to all of the other characters in the show, except Ryan (Elijah Wood) and the audience—For Ryan and viewers at home, Wilfred just looks like Gann dressed up in a dog suit.
The oddball show and fan favorite ran for four seasons and concluded in 2014, but it looks like Wilfred is still doing his thing, namely embracing the cannabis industry with his own brand, Wilfred CBD.
Gann is the CEO and founder of the brand, looking to spread the word about the healing powers of CBD and to help consumers find the best products for them, whether it’s a blunt, gummy, hemp flower or concentrate.
