Reggie Williams to Be Honored at Super Bowl LII

Reggie Williams, former linebacker for the Cincinnati Bengals, is being honored this year at Super Bowl LII for receiving the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 1986. This year marks the 50th year that the award has been presented to a player, which began back in 1970.

While Reggie Williams has made his mark on the National Football League (NFL), he sacrificed a lot to make his career a memorable one. Over the course of the last 30 years, Williams has experienced 24 knee surgeries, a bone infection called osteomyelitis and skin grafts that make his right leg 2 5/8 inches shorter than his left leg (which was almost at the point of needing an amputation). These ailments and chronic pains make life challenging, to say the least.

When Williams found out that he would be honored at this year’s Super Bowl, he made it a personal goal to be able to travel and accept his award without the use of crutches or any suffering of pain. Thankfully, his use of a cannabis product called Pure Ratios has allowed him to exceed expectations with that goal.

In November 2017, Williams was able to conquer his pain when he was ranked as one number 12 of the Top 50 players in the history of the Cincinnati Bengals. “It was a true pinnacle moment for me to be able to walk out on that field without any pain, crutches or even a limp!” Williams stated about his experience receiving that award. “I was able to do it with Pure Ratios. Before then, it wouldn’t have been possible. It made it even more bittersweet that I was back at my home stadium. I am looking forward to doing the same at the Super Bowl!”

Williams is a shareholder with Pure Ratios, and personally uses the company’s patented cannabidiol patch that provide pain relief for up to 96 hours. Now, he’s able to live a better life as a result.  “It’s an amazing feeling to wake up with no pain! It is a sense of freedom. It is something this administration and organizations need to support.”
