[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]O[/dropcap]n Monday’s episode of The Howard Stern Show, Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson admitted to smoking cannabis daily—for the last eight years.

Davidson quit all drugs for a brief three-month period when he went to rehab in 2016. Cannabis wasn’t the problem, he said. In 2017, the comedian was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, but the main reason he smokes cannabis is to alleviate the symptoms of Crohn’s disease.

“I have Crohn’s disease, so it [marijuana] helps more than you can imagine,” Davidson told Howard Stern. “There was a point where I couldn’t get out of bed. I was 110 pounds. I also just love smoking weed.”

Davidson revealed the extent of his love for the cannabis plant. “I’ve been smoking weed every day for eight years,” the 24-year-old said.

Howard Stern broadcasts his show regularly on SiriusXM radio, and frequently gets high profile guests to attend, such as Paul McCartney or Snoop Dogg.

In the past, Davidson’s stand-up routine included one of his most popular segments—how ridiculous anti-cannabis ads are. On Aug. 11, Davidson was pulled over with his friend, comedian Joey Gay, and Gay was cited with possession of cannabis, while Davidson was listed as an “associated person” in the arrest report.

Recently, Davidson revealed that he’s become engaged to Ariana Grande. The two describe their relationship as being destined to be together, and Davidson got a tattoo to match Grande’s neck tattoo. There’s no word yet if Grande smokes with Davidson, especially since her ex-boyfriend and former CULTURE cover Mac Miller died from an apparent overdose.

Among other revelations, Davidson said that he turned down a dinner with Jack Nicholson and that he’s quitting social media for awhile. Davidson also revealed that’s he’s received a death threat for dating Grande. It’s been one of the most revealing interviews that Davidson has done yet.
