Delicious, crispy potato wedges, slices and chunks cooked to perfection and seasoned with a variety of spices and a plethora of salt are hard to resist. Not to mention the addition of cheese, salsa, or other topics slathered across these fresh, bite-sized delights. Want to honor National French Fry Day with your own freshly made fries? Look no further than this easy recipe, with a dose of cannabis to spice things up.

Cannabis-Infused French Fries

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds russet potatoes

Peanut or vegetable oil, pre-infused with cannabis strain of choice

Coarse or kosher salt

Seasoning as desired

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan until it reaches 365 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Peel potatoes, then cut them into small slices (1/4-3/8 inches thick). Place in a bowl of ice water until ready to fry.
  3. When its fry time, remove slices from water and pat with paper towels until dry.
  4. Place small amounts of potato slices into the heated oil, about 7 to 9 minutes or until they begin to turn golden.
  5. Strain oil from fries, and place on a plate covered with a paper towel to continue to absorb excess oil.
  6. Season with salt, or other ingredients. Serve immediately.
