Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Unveil Cannabis-Themed Wedding

Miley Cyrus has quickly become a brazen, unapologetic beacon for cannabis legalization. The popstar recently expressed that she wants cannabis “at every table” at her upcoming wedding with Liam Hemsworth. This could very well be the highest-profile cannabis wedding yet—a dream fulfilled for the 23-year-old singer-songwriter.

“Everyone knows Miley loves to throw an outrageous party and her wedding won’t be any different. With weed being decriminalized in California, Miley wants some on every table, as well as a dessert buffet of marijuana edibles. She says her dream would be for everyone to get high together,” a source told Heat Magazine. Miley plans on incorporating her six dogs into the bridal party with a pet spa, special menus and assigned table settings. Miley has decided on French designer Simon Jacquemus to create a series of wedding gowns. The couple hired celebrity party planner Kevin Lee to make the magic happen.

It’s definitely no secret that Miley adores cannabis. When Arsenio Hall asked Wiz Khalifa what he thought of Miley, he replied “Insane! … She’s like a ball of energy, you know what I mean? And she smokes a ton… Every five minutes she kept being like, ‘Wiz, you don’t have a joint rolled? What’s up?'” When Wiz Khalifa says you smoke “a lot,” that’s an indicator that you are smoking excessive amounts of cannabis. Miley then began a series of cannabis stunts including smoking on stage numerous times to applying fan leaves in her fashion statement. Not everyone was impressed after her latest on-stage session at the MTV Video Music Awards. The Truth Initiative criticized MTV and Miley for sending the wrong message to kids.

Liam is reportedly taking a much more “sensible” approach to the wedding. Nobody is surprised; however, that Miley plans on incorporating wisps of smoke to seal the wedlock.

“I think weed is the best drug on earth!” Miley told Rolling Stone in an interview.
