How and when did your dispensary start up?

We’ve been in the
industry for quite some time. We have another facility off of East Colfax, called
Colorado Cannabis Facility, and another off of Federal Boulevard called Mile
High Medical and Recreational Cannabis. This is the third line of dispensaries that
we started back in 2009. I personally got my start with some acreage up in
Estes Park back in 2002 and that’s when I learned how to cultivate.

What does your dispensary offer customers that they can’t
find anywhere else?

We give our
customers a $5, 1/8th of a gram each month and tax free pricing. We have a new
project called the “dab stash,” which is a feature on a local concentrate
extractor that can be seen in all three of our stores. We have the largest
spectrum of concentrates in the marketplace. Each month we choose a different
one to highlight, so you won’t find the selection anywhere else that you can
find here. We are all connoisseurs—we don’t just want to sell our stuff, we
want to sell everyone’s stuff.

How has the cannabis industry changed since you have been in
the business? Where would you like to see it go?

I see Colorado
leading the way and the rest of the nation following suit. I was in California
for the medical cannabis cup two weeks ago and right now, everyone out there is
talking about how they are about to write bills for their legislation and they
are modeling those bills similarly to Colorado. I see this industry going down
the road of complete legalization. I think the recreational step is the next
one. I think they are just going to merge recreational and medical together to
create a marijuana program that everybody can follow.
