How long has the dispensary been in business?

LivWell has been in business since 2009, but
we opened the doors of this dispensary in January of 2013. This location has
since become our most popular.

What’s the story behind the name of the dispensary?

At LivWell, we know that marijuana is
incredibly powerful—it has powerful medical benefits, and it’s a powerful
economic force. We began as a medical-only dispensary, using the power of
high-quality cannabis as part of a holistic treatment approach. And we’ve
adapted that attitude and knowledge to the recreational side of our business.
We supply the kind of comfortable environment, education and high-quality bud
that empowers our customers to LivWell.

 

What does your dispensary offer that customers that they
can’t find anywhere else?

It’s our affordable bud and our knowledgeable
budtenders that really set us apart. We have ounces starting at $89.99 and
eighths at $13. And we recently introduced a rewards program so that customers
earn points for every purchase they make. At LivWell, every one of our
budtenders is certified by LivWell University—our trademark education program
that covers everything from the science of the endocannabinoid system to the
methods for providing top-notch customer service. So our budtenders don’t just
have access to a great selection, they know how to find the perfect product for
every customer too.

What are the biggest challenges you face in this industry?

The industry’s ever-changing laws and
regulations make product development and growth modeling difficult. It’s hard
to plan for the unplanned. Which is why we’re working closely with city and
state officials to ensure that we’re at the forefront of safety and
best-practice procedures.

What would you say is the biggest joy of working in this
industry?

Our biggest joy is educating the public about
marijuana. Whether they’re a medical patient, a recreational customer, or
someone who’s just curious about cannabis, we have a passion for providing the
information people need to enjoy our products safely and responsibly.  

What’s the most important thing you’re hoping to
accomplish in the MJ/MMJ community?

We’re striving to set the standards in
compliance, education, quality and price. We stay at the forefront of
cultivation techniques, edibles, concentrates and industry developments. And as
legalization expands nationally, we want to be right there alongside it. We’re
out to establish ourselves as the industry leader—to break traditional
marijuana stereotypes, and show the world that responsible business practices
and marijuana are not mutually exclusive.
