Sometimes called Lamb’s Breath, Bob Marley allegedly preferred this strain, and it’s widely seen as a Jamaican near-pure sativa with some very interesting attributes. Available at San Francisco’s The Apothecarium—a well-reviewed Castro institution—this is a very special sativa. Lamb’s Bread is big—4.1 grams per nug big. Super-asymmetrical, the flower top starts fat and flares out wide from the base of the stem, splitting into huge tusks of lime green with orange and golden hairs. It feels like a crime to break it up. Lamb’s Bread smells grassy; like a complex hay. Grinding reveals some floral and sweet notes, and her smoke is spicy yet smooth. This sativa starts strong, and gets very stoney—unplugging stress at its source, with a long-term body high to match.
