On May 11, Krayzie Bone, formerly from the multi-platinum-selling hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, traveled to Humboldt County, California to explore options for his new line of cannabis products.
The new line, Strains of Legends, is manufactured and distributed by 420 Vapor and offers vape cartridges, pre-rolls and an assortment of extracts. Strains are loosely named after Bone Thugs-N-Harmony hits such as “Eternal” and “9Nine.” Most products depict an image of Krayzie Bone with text in Old English. Products are distributed to dispensaries throughout California, and expansion is likely.

According to Lost Coast Outpost, Riverbar Pharms Bed & Breakfast confirmed that the rapper stayed at its location in Fortuna, California while he sampled local cannabis. “They went to Trinidad and loved it there,” Riverbar Pharms Bed & Breakfast Owner Desiree Robinson said. “They saw the redwoods and got to see the beauty of Humboldt.” Krayzie Bone posted a photo of the beautiful coast near Camel Rock during his stay in the area.
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony redefined gansta rap by infusing gospel-like harmonies into their repertoire throughout the 1990s and 2000s, frequently topping the charts. Before Eazy E of N.W.A. died of AIDS, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony was the producer’s last pet project. The group’s impact in hip-hop music is easy to see today. MTV, for instance, called the group “the most melodic hip-hop group of all time.” Krayzie Bone was known for his deep voice that harmonized perfectly with the other group members.
Last April 20, Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone hosted a catering event featuring cannabis-infused foods provided by Simply High Extracts at The Reserve in downtown Los Angeles. According to recent Instagram posts, Krayzie Bone is currently touring as a solo artist and simultaneously promoting his line of cannabis-infused products. The line of cannabis products is especially appropriate, given that cannabis was a frequently recurring theme in the artist’s music.
