Jamaican Lion was San Francisco’s 2011 High Times Medical Cannabis Cup 2nd Place winner in the High CBD category. CBD (or cannabidiol) is a cannabinoid just like THC, though it’s not psychoactive, and limits the psychoactivity of THC when taken together. Breeders crossed Jamaican father Jamaican Yarders with mother Mountain Lions, which itself is a cross of Rock Bud and Lionheart. This sativa (from our friends at Elemental Wellness Center in San Jose) smells distinctly light and grassy, and a bit, well, smoky.
