Other than consuming cannabis, nothing is more comforting than sipping on a delicious holiday beverage in the middle of December. Luckily, there’s plenty of ways to combine cannabis and holiday drinks for the ultimate relaxing experience. Check out these hot cocoa, apple cider and eggnog recipes, all of which have a welcomed dose of cannabis to calm your nerves and let you slip into deep relaxation.

Cannabis Infused Hot Cocoa

Ingredients

2 cups cannabis-infused milk

2 tablespoons sugar

4 ounces desired chocolate (bittersweet is often good, but you can substitute cocoa powder in place of actual chocolate bars)

3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: Whipped cream, marshmallows, sprinkles, candy canes, etc.

Instructions

  1. Put a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Mix milk and sugar in pan.
  3. Chop chocolate finely, and heat in microwave for 20-30 seconds. Remove from microwave and stir until completely melted.
  4. When milk begins to bubble on the sides, remove from heat.
  5. Stir in melted chocolate, followed by vanilla extract.
  6. Top with desired toppings and serve.

Cannabis Infused Apple Cider

Ingredients

5 cups cannabis-infused apple juice

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1-2 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. Over medium heat, cook infused apple juice, ground cinnamon, nutmeg and cinnamon sticks. Stir occasionally as it heats up. (The longer it remains on the heat, the more your spices will infuse into the drink).
  2. Once hot, pour into mugs and serve.
